Basics of GTD

Reviewing

You need to be able to check the state of your life at regular intervals and appropriate levels.

You should check daily your calendar, since here there are the binding commitments of each day. You should also review quite often your next actions lists. If they are organized by context (“at home”, “at computer”, “with boss”), you will only have to check those in which the context is available.

Projects, waiting for and someday/maybe lists must be revised as often as you believe necessary not to be concerned about them.

It is advisable to do a weekly review to keep updated the system:

  • Collect and process all your stuff.
  • Update your lists.
  • Review your system. Get clean, current and complete.
