FacileThings has been updated today with some corrections and some changes in its Project Management feature.
First, and according to the GTD methodology, you can create a new project when you’re processing an element. This way, you have the opportunity to add a new project to your Projects List at the same moment you realize you’ll need several action steps to complete the task. The stuff you’re processing is automatically added as the first action of the new project.
Some optional, interesting fields have also been added to projects:
- The area of responsibility under which you define the project. It will help you classify your projects and connect them to higher goals. Think that if a project cannot be linked to one of your areas of responsibility, surely it shouldn’t be done.
- An expanded description of the project, where you can detail what it is.
- A due date, which is necessary in most cases.
Finally, we have modified the design of the “Projects” List to make it more meaningful, indicating which projects are important and what percentage of tasks have been executed:
