New UI for the Dashboard
The Dashboard section has been updated today with a new design that includes all the performance and usability improvements previously added to the other sections.
We have put special emphasis on increasing and improving help in the application itself, adding small texts here and there to allow beginners to assimilate concepts and features quickly, on the go.
You will see that some names and concepts have been modified to more closely follow the GTD methodology. For instance, there is a new list called Tickler File, which containts all the actions that are currently inactive (also called future actions). Previously, these actions were included in the Calendar and Next Actions lists.
Persistence has been added to the whole section, so data like the latest list you visited, the latest criterion you used to sort your actions or the latest tags you used to filter them, are stored along working sessions.
Ah! You can also collect quickly, without taking your hands off the keyboard, using Ctrl+Enter once you have typed the text.
