Project
Unlike what we normally understand as a project, in GTD it refers to any outcome you have committed to achieving that will take more than one action step to complete.
So some rather small things you would not normally call "projects" are going to appear on your Project List. The reasoning behind this broad definition is that if one single step will not complete something, you will need some mark to remind you that there is something still left to do. The project fulfills that function.
You don't actually do a project; you can only do action steps related to it.
