Threefold Model for Evaluating Daily Work
According to The Threefold Model for Evaluating Daily Work, a person may be involved in one of these three types of activities at any time during a normal workday:
- Defining the work: It consists in clarifying your inbox to determine the work that needs to be done, and organizing and reviewing your lists.
- Doing the work that is already defined: That is, doing those tasks in your Next Actions list that are more interesting according to the appropriate criteria at the moment.
- Doing the work as it shows up: Taking care of what is constantly showing up, as if everything were urgent, is the type of activity that you should avoid.
