New PDF Reports: Projects and Agendas

Today we have published two new PDF reports in the FacileThings web application:

  1. One allows you to print a whole project, with information about the project and all the lists that make it up, including subprojects, if they exist. Each list shows all the information related to each item of the project (description, expected time, expected energy, notes, attached files, checklist, etc.).
  2. The other allows you to print a collaborator’s complete agenda, with all the actions that must be reviewed in a meeting with that person. As in the project report, actions display all the information they contain, making it useful when you don’t have access to the application or prefer to use a printed report.

Access to the project report is done from the Projects option in the Organize menu. Click on the “print” icon to get the report:

Access to the agenda report is done from the Collaborators option in the Organize menu. Also here is a new “print” button:

A nice update for those users who want a hard copy.

A few suggestions on how to improve the PDF copy:

1. For Next Actions, can you put an indicator that a task is blocked or has a dependency?

2. Need a better way to manage Notes from Evernote. Some notes can be very long and are only meant to be there for reference when needed. Suggest you give individuals the option to decide if they reference material printed off or not.

3. Print Subproject descriptions, if any are provided.

Hi Cyrus,

Good suggestions. There are many things that a user could enable/disable when printing this report. Well see if that is feasible or if it's enough to offer a another, more "compact" version of the report.

We'll probably modify/improve the report in the following days.

Thank you!
