In addition to using Dropbox and Evernote as Reference Material repositories for making decisions in your GTD system on FacileThings, you can now also use files saved in Google Drive and Box:
No need for any prior configuration. Attaching your files from Google Drive and Box—like general reference material and support material for projects or single tasks—is as simple as clicking on the attach option on any item in any list.
In the window for attaching files, select the “Web File” tab and then the desired source (Google Drive, Dropbox or Box):
In any case, the appropriate file selector will open. If you are not connected to Google or Box at that time, they will ask for your credentials (in the case of Google Drive you need to give your browser permission to open pop-up windows):
Each attachment will show a small icon indicating its source:
Other minor changes
- When collecting, you are allowed to use the
:start
command as long as it is done in combination with the:day
command. - The process to import email attachements has been improved.
- The process to import Evernote notebooks associated with projects has been improved.
- The synchronization process used by the mobile applications has been improved.
- Now the origin of the items that have been captured with the mobile apps are identified with a small icon:

Great update. Additional reference sources is a great bonus and the small improvements just make FT all the better.
Thank you!

I am glad you are extending support to sites other than Evernote!
Any intent of eventually supporting OneNote (through OneDrive)?I am using OneNote both at the office and at home instead of Evernote or Google Drive.

Thank you guys!
Ugo: Still no plans for OneNote or OneDrive, but more and more people are asking us for a OneNote integration. So it's in out mind ;)

Another great update! I appreciate the integration with Google Drive as I contemplate a migration away from Evernote.
The improvements and added features over the past few weeks and months have been outstanding! FT is very much my "go-to" life management app!

Very welcome improvements but unfortunately I don't use any of the sources you have added. I would vote for links to outlook calendar, one note and onedrive. Thanks for all your great work

Thanks Joseph & Tony!
Tony: Judging from the feedback we are getting, the next tools to integrate will be those of Microsoft. ;)

I would second integration with Outlook (Exchange) calendars, since that is the system we use at work.
