December 2024: Here Is Where We Are At

Hi everyone!

In the last few weeks we have released a new version of the mobile app that includes routine management.

We are working on the integration with Zapier and I think we will be able to publish it in January. Zapier is a service that allows you to connect many applications and automate processes in a very simple way, without the need for programming knowledge. In the blog we will show you some use cases that will serve as a reference.

We have been working for almost a year on a prototype of what will surely be the new FacileThings application in the future. It is an application built from scratch with state-of-the-art technology and based on the principles of local-first software. It will have the benefits of a cloud application (data synchronized on all devices, access from any browser, etc.) and the benefits of a local application (almost instantaneous execution speed, possibility of working off-line, etc.).

This will be our big project for 2025. It will go through different phases before becoming publicly available to everyone, in which we will gradually incorporate users and experiment with new concepts, designs and improvements of all kinds. I will keep you informed in successive newsletters.

That’s all for now! Happy New Year! 🥳

I'm so happy to hear this: if you need beta testers at some point to test out the new app I'd be happy to participate and help. Btw, would it mean that there will be new versions for apps in Google Play and AppStore?
