I just found an article that publishes the list of Top 50 Most Motivational People on the Web and I am not surprised to find in it many authors whose work is based on the principle of doing more with less effort, a.k.a productivity, as the following:

Why do we procrastinate even knowing that this behavior will bring us problems? Why is it so hard to quit a job or a career that gets us nowhere? Why do we continue to do (or not to do) certain things, even though we know that the fact of doing (or not doing) them hurts us?

Until a couple of years, I never gave due emphasis to personal productivity. It’s true that I’ve always tried to be as productive as possible in my professional life, but I didn’t care about being a disaster in my personal life. I guess it was because I found an economic profit in the first case and no benefit at all in the latter.
