Principles are fundamental rules or ideas that guide thought or behaviour, and constitute a frame of reference for achieving the common good within a society. They are universal by nature. The principle of equality (all human beings are equal before the law, regardless of race, gender, nationality, social status or any other characteristic) is an example of a universal ethical principle.

Most employers seem to think that money is the most important factor in job satisfaction. After all, people work to earn a living and a competitive salary does seem like a reasonable exchange for their services. However, there’s more to work than just money. There are different factors that play into workplace happiness and productivity.

Laziness, together with fear, is one of the greatest enemies of actions. Although it usually has a negative connotation, the truth is that laziness is somehow included in animal and human nature. It’s the unwillingness to work or use energy, despite having the ability to do so, and there can be different causes:

The Coronavirus pandemic has swept the globe in ways many people couldn’t even imagine. The illness that has infected more than two million people across the globe has done much more than cause people to get sick. It has impacted the job market as well.

Co-working is the newest trend in both freelance and mainstream working. It is a form of office setting that allows people to work together within a common space, but not necessarily on the same project. The workers are primarily independent of each other, but they can always consult, inspire, and motivate each other when the need arises. But does this have any positive impact on productivity?
